Argile Finishes
Argile paint combines two fundamental technical aspects: quality and durability. With a firm background in the industrial field for the past 30 years, Argile has developed a specialised product through R&D, technology and environmental advancements.
All Argile colors are available in all finishes, from deep matt to satin, in a range of interior and exterior paint.
Argile offers preparation products for different surfaces, along with specialty products like matt ceiling paint and a clear matt varnish to provide further durability and resistance where required.
Committed for over 20 years to the preservation of the environment and the development of ecological innovations, Argile also presents its Nature range of exclusive paint for interiors, with high technical performance, formulated with more than 95% bio-sourced vegetable oils (Ecolabel EU / Excell+).
The preparation products – Acrylic resin
Argile sous-couche de préparation (ASCP)
- Acrylic primer for the preparation of rough and absorbent substrates (plaster, plasterboard, matt acrylic paint) to be used prior to application of Argile interior paint. A+
- White. Mostly odourless. Fine, matt and smooth appearance.
2.5 – 5 – 10 litres
Argile primaire universel (APU)
- Water-soluble primer used as an undercoat to adhere to hard, smooth and difficult to grip materials (PVC, melamine, MDF, wood, non-ferrous metals, etc.) to be used prior to application of Argile interior paint. A+
- Interior and exterior. White, taut appearance and light satin finish.

Argile impression nature (AIN)
- Acrylic primer for the preparation of rough and absorbent substrates (plaster, plasterboard, matt acrylic paint) to be used prior to application of Argile interior paint. A+

- Sheen level: <2%

Argile mat profond (AMP)
- Very matt acrylic paint with a mineral and finely structured appearance. A+
- Odourless, wipeable, easy to apply, delicate, superb coverage and opaque.
- Sheen level: <2%
- All common interior surfaces, raw or painted: walls, ceilings, old paint, woodwork.

Argile mat velouté (AMV)
- A velvety mat acrylic paint, matt with a smooth, taut appearance. A+
- Odourless, wipeable, easy to apply, durable, opaque.
- Sheen level: 3-5%
- All common interior surfaces, raw or painted: walls, ceilings, old paint, woodwork. Very suitable for living rooms and bedrooms.

Argile laque mate (ALM)
- Acrylic polyurethane matt lacquer paint, with a smooth and taut appearance. A+
- Hard, resistant, wipeable and washable (class 1), odourless, easy to apply.
- Sheen level: 3-5%
- All types of interior surfaces, raw or painted, for dry or damp rooms (walls, woodwork, doors, skirting boards, kitchens, bathrooms, hotels, commercial buildings, etc.)

Argile satin couvrant (ASC)
- Acrylic paint, good coverage, opaque and resistant. A+
- Light satin appearance, finely structured.
- Sheen level: 10-15%
- Odourless, wipeable and washable.
- All common interior surfaces: walls, fabrics, wall coverings, woodwork, corridors and passageways. Practical and functional use.

Argile laque satinée intérieure (ALSI)
- Acrylic polyurethane lacquer paint with a glossier satin finish, smooth and taut. A+
- Odourless, resistant, durable, wipeable and washable.
- Sheen level: 20-25%
- All common interior surfaces, raw or already painted: walls, woodwork, doors, windows, old paint, skirting boards, furniture or bathrooms.

Argile nature satin (ANS)
- Soft satin paint, formulated with +95% bio-based vegetable oils. EU Ecolabel. A+
- Finely structured appearance, smooth to the touch. Wipeable and washable. Easy to apply.
- Sheen level: 20%-30%
- All common interior surfaces, all rooms.
- Sous-couche Argile impression nature (AIN) highly recommended.

Ceiling paint
Argile blanc plafond (ABP)
- A very matt paint that masks imperfections: no tension, water based, formulated with lime oil, and made from renewable resources. EU Ecolabel. A+
- Sheen level: <2%
- High opacity, very white, very matt, no flaking, no blistering, no peeling. Finely structured appearance. Very easy to apply.
- Highly pigmented, able to paint fresh on fresh (no wait time on second coat), stain resistant. For interior ceilings. Can be tinted in light and pastel colours.

Protective matt varnish
Argile vernis mat (AVM)
- Water-based acrylic polyurethane varnish. A+
- Sheen level: 7%
- Odourless, colorless and transparent, with high impact and abrasion resistance. Washable.
- Provides extra durability on top of Argile finishes, by giving a velvety matt and taut appearance.
- All interior surfaces: paint and woodwork.

Exterior paint
Argile mat velouté extérieur (AMVE)
- Acrylic paint with a finely structure velvety matt appearance. A+
- Sheen level: 4-6%
- Odourless, washable, and easy to apply.
- Flexible, microporous, weather resistant, high adhesion.
- Application on facades and exterior woodwork.
